While all my stockists are special, and I truly love getting to know each of them, this new one holds a special place in my heart.
My dear cousin Penny, who I grew up with, decided that it was time to do something different. After many months of planning, dreaming, designing, creating with her talented husband Peter and sister Rachel, and a little trip to Sydney where we tackled a trade show together, her new shop Lou Lou's opened last week.
It's a beautiful shop that her and her husband have put their heart and soul into, and I think they've done an awesome job. She is going great guns so far with sales and customers.
The shop is in my hometown, Bombala, in the Monaro district in south eastern NSW so for that reason it is also close to my heart.
It is also named after Penny's mum, Lyn, who died unexpectedly a few years ago, who was nicknamed Lou Lou.
I really am very proud of my cousin for taking a risk, doing something different, offering something new and exciting to our little town and am so impressed with her business nouse.
