The Weekend

After a few weekends that were a bit meh, finally a weekend lovely in it's normalness.

A day of baking and party bag stuffing and making things super hero inspired in preparation for Mr T's superhero birthday party next weekend.

And a picnic with my mother's group to celebrate all the babes turning 1 - I have not been able to go much the last few months so was so lovely to see how grown up and cute they all are! I took Miss 8 and Mr T for the ride, kind of expecting heavy parenting as per our last few weekends, but they were a delight and not only behaved well but played with all the babies and even encouraged one little man to take his first steps! Awwwww.... One thing that struck me talking to all these mums is we are all trying, the best we can, to balance it all. We are all doing just great. Some days feel anything but though, don't they...
